We recently got our basement finished and I’ve had so much fun decorating it and picking out different pieces. When it comes to furniture I like to invest in timeless high quality pieces. When it comes to area rugs my philosophy is go cheap! Between having two littles and one huge dog it’d just not worth it to splurge on a rug! Besides, with all of our furniture being neutral, it’s easy to cheaply change the entire feel of the room by simply switching the rug. This Artistic Weavers Area rug was a steal at $112 and was the perfect color for brightening up our basement. What is something you refuse to splurge on?
